false friends is the public working site ofMarcello Cualbu. Artist, occasionally. The rest of the time, one of the people the artist would like to disagree with.

The site is organised by research fields, not by finished works. Each section — Territory / Extraction, Infrastructure as Ideology, Tourism, Data / Politics — is a question the studio keeps re-asking; individual pieces appear inside as attempts, not answers.

Practice runs across installation, kinetic device, generative text, and sound. Whichever material happens to hold the argument long enough to be photographed.
